IKF Green Fuel Ltd. is one of the front runners in the Bio-fuel industry. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of IKF Technologies Ltd. (www.ikf-technologies.com), having its registered office in Shillong and corporate office in NOIDA, India. IKF has evolved a model of Jatropha cultivation through Company owned / leased lands and through contract farming across the country. It has the largest area under Jatropha cultivation in around sixteen states throughout India.

Brief History: -
The Company namely IKF Green Fuel Ltd. was incorporated as on 29-05-2006 as a Private Company in the name of IKF Green Fuel Pvt. Ltd. and it has been converted into Public Limited Company as on 13th March, 2008 by passing a special resolution in the Extra- Ordinary General Meeting of the Company with the object to grow, cultivate Jatropha and other plants to use their seeds for the purpose of extraction of 'Bio- Diesel'.

IKF Technologies Ltd., the Parent Company : -
IKF Technologies Ltd. was incorporated on 22nd, February, 2000 in the name of IKF Software.com Limited to carry on the software development business, ITES-BPO and call centre. The name of the company was changed to IKF Technologies Limited with effect from 5th July 2001. It is listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Calcutta Stock Exchange and Luxembourg Stock Exchange. IKF Technologies Limited is a blend of diverse fields under one umbrella and is poised to become a major player in the field of Bio- Diesel, Telecom, e-Governance, IT/ ITES and Web Designing Solutions.
Achievements of IKF Green Fuel Ltd. : -
IKF Green Fuel Ltd. has signed an MOU with Madhya Pradesh Agro Industries Development Corporation (A Government of Madhya Pradesh Undertaking) for setting up a bio-diesel refinery and wasteland development through Jatropha cultivation on 5000 ha with an estimated investment of Rs. 30 crore.
HDFC Bank has agreed to provide credit facility to farmers who undertake contract farming with IKFGFL. The total outlay is Rs. 20 crores.
IKFGFL is cultivating Jatropha on more than 10,000 ha under contract farming in different states.
IKFGFL has set its up own nurseries with over 2,00,00,000 (2 crores) saplings.
IKF has entered into an agreement with Sigma Bio-fuel, Hyderabad covering over 5000 acres, and Avani Vermi Compost & Bio-fuel, Ahmedabad for undertaking Jatropha plantation in the respective states.
Apart from this IKF Technologies Ltd. has also floated a Joint Venture Company in Jharkhand as well as in Gujarat with local partners for extensive Jatropha cultivation in the respective states. The Company also has a strategic alliance with SRECKO Indhan Ltd. in Andhra Pradesh and is planning to start Jatropha cultivation in AP.
Along with cultivation of Jatropha in huge prospects across various states of India, IKF has developed extensive capability in terms of its extraction, processing, technical know-how and marketing of the processed fuel. The Company has signed an agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, R&D Centre, Faridabad on the March 1, 2006 of transferring of technology and providing technical assistance for conversion of Jatropha oil into Bio-diesel. The Company has already set up a trans-esterification plant with a production capacity of 3000 liters per day at Udaipur. In order to cater to the growing demand of bio-diesel within and outside India, the Company has planned to set up a refinery with a production capacity of 300 tonnes per day in Gujarat. The agreements are in the name of the IKF Technologies Limited. The parent Company is in process to assign the agreements in in the favour of IKF Green Fuel Ltd.
